You will learn how to safely log out of your Best Wallet app, making sure your crypto remains accessible and safe.
Whilst this won't delete your wallets or crypto, it will mean you won't be able to access them until you log back in. This could be useful if you're changing devices and want to log in to Best Wallet on your new phone.
However, please note that logging out of your Best Wallet app will mean when you next log in, you will have to re-add all imported and created wallets. This is because Best Wallet is a decentralized app, so the only wallet that is automatically connected to your Best Wallet account is your Main Best Wallet.
Therefore, it is important to safely make backups of any imported or created wallet's private key or secret recovery phrase before logging out.
Step 1: Heading to your Settings
First, head to your Best Wallet's Settings tab, which is found in the navigation bar.
Step 2: Back up your wallets before logging out
Before logging out, it's very important to make backups of all your wallets.
To back up your multi-chain wallets, go to Settings → Manage Wallets → Multi-Chain Wallets. Press the button Cloud Backup to begin — read our step-by-step guide on how to back up your multi-chain wallets.
For any EVM-Only Wallet, you need to make a secure offline backup of your wallet's private keys. This is very important, as your EVM-Only Wallets will need re-adding after you log back in — even if you have a cloud backup.
Read our step-by-step guide on how to back up your EVM-Only Wallets.
Once you've made backups of all your additional wallets in Best Wallet, hit the "Log Out" in Best Wallet.
Next, you will see a warning. Please read it carefully and double-check you have backups of all your EVM-Only Wallets' private keys.
Note: All your crypto will remain in your wallets, you just won't be able to access your Best Wallet account, and your transaction history may be wiped.
Tap "Log Out", and you will be successfully logged out of your Best Wallet. To log back in, all you need to do is log back in using the same email address and using your cloud backup.
