Whilst you can create secure cloud backups for your multi-chain wallets, you will need to make secure offline backups for each EVM-only wallet you own in Best Wallet.
You can back up any EVM-only wallet in Best Wallet by securely copying its private keys. This manual backup method ensures that you can access your wallet and crypto assets even if you lose access to your device.
Backing up your wallet is critical for protecting your funds, especially if you need to recover your wallet on another device. With EVM-only wallets, your private keys are your key to recovery — so handle it with care.

Step 1: Head to settings
In Best Wallet, tap the Settings tab in the navigation bar to get started.
Next, tap Manage Wallets.
After that, select EVM-Only Wallets.
Step 2: Select the wallet you want to backup
Choose the EVM-only wallet you want to back up from the list — we recommend making a backup of every EVM-only wallet you have in Best Wallet.
Next, tap Show Private Keys to proceed.
Step 3: Access your wallet's private keys
It's very important to hand your wallet's private keys very carefully. If someone else were to gain access to your private keys, they can access and move your funds without your permission — it's a little like someone gaining access to your online banking password.
Next, you will see a caution message explaining how you should handle your private key, including never sharing it when anyone.
Make sure you fully understand the implications of accessing your wallet's private keys. The main reason is to make a secure offline copy of your private keys — never share them with anyone.
Next, tap "I understand the risk" and then "Continue Anyway".
Step 5: Copy your private keys
Next, unlock your private keys with your biometrics or passcode.
Here, you can copy it to your device's clipboard — although we strongly recommend not keeping a backup online.
How to securely back up your private keys
When backing up your wallet's private keys, follow these best practices:
Write it down on paper and store it in a secure location, like a safe or safety deposit box. We recommend making several copies and testing it, to make sure the copy is 100% accurate.
Never store it digitally, such as in emails, notes, or cloud storage, to prevent unauthorized access.
Do not share it with anyone. No one from Best Wallet or any legitimate platform will ever ask you for your private key.
