Learn the simple steps on how to remove an imported or legacy EVM-only wallet in Best Wallet. You can't currently remove a multi-chain wallet, but we are working on adding that feature.
Please note that removing a wallet doesn't delete it from existence, but just removes it from your Best Wallet app. Please don't remove a wallet you want to access in the future without a backup. Read our guide on how to back up your EVM-only wallet.

Step 1: Go to Manage Wallets
First Best Wallet, go to the Settings tab on the navigation bar.
Go to “Manage Wallets”, which will bring you an overview of all your wallets in Best Wallet.
Your wallets will be divided into different categories, depending on what wallets you have in Best Wallet. These are "Multi-Chain Wallets" and "EVM-Only Wallets".
As you can only remove EVM-only wallets, tap that category to continue.
Step 2: Remove the wallet
Next, select the imported wallet you want to remove.
If you plan to import it elsewhere, remember to physically record your wallet’s private key at this stage. You can see your private keys by tapping "Show Private Keys" on this screen.
Important: No one from Best Wallet will ever request your wallet’s private key. Keep this information strictly private and do not share it with anyone.
Once you've made your backup, tap “Remove Wallet” - you will then see an explanation and warning about removing your wallet.
You will need to use your biometrics or Best Wallet 4-digit passcode to confirm you have made a backup of your wallet. Until you do this, you won't be able to remove your wallet.
Once you confirm you've made a backup, you can then remove your wallet.
Once your wallet is removed, you won’t be able to access it in Best Wallet.
If you accidentally remove a wallet you didn’t intend to, you can add it back using the wallet’s private key or seed phrase.
