Learn the simple steps on how to remove a wallet in Best Wallet. This is useful if you created a new wallet or imported an external crypto wallet that you no longer use and want to remove from your home screen.

Note: You cannot remove your Main Best Wallet that was created when you first set up your Best Wallet.

You can either watch our video tutorial or follow the steps below.

Step 1: Selecting the right Best Wallet

First Best Wallet, go to the Settings tab on the navigation bar.

Go to “Manage Wallets”, which will bring you an overview of all your crypto wallets in Best Wallet.

Your wallets will be divided into different categories, depending on what wallets you have in Best Wallet. These will be your Main Wallet, Imported Wallets, and Created Wallets.

Note: You won't see a category if you don't have that type of wallet in Best Wallet. For example, if you have yet to create a new wallet, you won't see the category in "Manage Wallets".

For example, if you want to remove an imported wallet, select that category.

Step 2: Removing the wallet

Next, select the imported wallet you want to remove.

If you plan to import it elsewhere, remember to physically record your wallet’s private key at this stage. You can see your private keys by tapping "Private Keys" on this screen.

Once you've made your backup, tap “Remove wallet” - you will then see an explanation and warning about removing your wallet.

You will need to use your biometrics or Best Wallet 4-digit passcode to confirm you have made a backup of your wallet. Until you do this, you won't be able to remove your wallet.

Once you confirm you've made a backup, you can then remove your wallet.

Once your wallet is removed, you won’t be able to access it in Best Wallet.

If you accidentally remove a wallet you didn’t intend to, you can add it back using the wallet’s private key or seed phrase.
