Learn how to view your cloud backup details in Best Wallet. This is useful if you intend to log in via a new device or want to make a note of how you've backed up your Best Wallet.

It's very important to back up your multi-chain wallets in-app β€” read our step-by-step guide on how to do this. Once done, you will use this backup to restore your multi-chain wallets if you ever change or lose your device, or have to uninstall Best Wallet.

How to view your cloud backup

First, go to the Settings tab in your navigation bar:

Next, go to "Manage Wallets".

Tap "Multi-Chain Wallets" to view your cloud backup and wallet details.

Next, tap "Cloud Backup".

You will then see your last cloud backup details: what email you used and what date you backed up on.

If you want to update your backup, tap the "Delete Backup" button at the bottom, then restart the backup process β€” read our guide on how to back up successfully here.

Why you should back up

The cloud backup not only means you can recover your multi-chain wallets if you were to lose access to your device or Best Wallet app, but also means you can re-login to your Best Wallet account, too.

You can either back up to your iCloud or Google Drive storage, and it is only stored on your own cloud storage, never Best Wallet's.

We strongly recommend you always have a cloud backup, and that you secure it with a secret word, and note down your secret word somewhere offline.
