Learn how to claim your Snorter Bot ($SNORT) tokens directly in Best Wallet.

The $SNORT token claim period starts on October 27 at 2:00 PM UTC. This guide may be published early to help you get ready and successfully claim your tokens, but you won't be able to claim your tokens until then.

If you’ve participated in the $SNORT token sale through Best Wallet’s Upcoming Token tab, claiming your tokens is the next step to accessing them in your wallet.

This article explains the simple process of claiming your tokens, potential challenges, and helpful tips to ensure a smooth experience. This includes troubleshooting advice for issues like high gas fees or app glitches.

What chain will you claim $SNORT on?

Because Snorter Bot ($SNORT) is a multi-chain token launching simultaneously on Ethereum and Solana, you will either claim your tokens on one of two chains:

  • If you bought with an Ethereum token or bank card in-app, you’ll claim on Ethereum, meaning you’ll need ETH for the claim gas fee.

  • If you bought with a Solana token, you’ll claim on Solana, meaning you’ll need SOL for the gas fee instead.

It's important to know what version of the $SNORT token you're claiming so you can have the right gas fee token in your claiming wallet.

Important: Claiming staked $SNORT tokens

If you bought and staked $SNORT during the token sale, you won’t be able to withdraw the full amount on October 27 when the claim period begins.

Instead, your tokens and rewards will unlock on November 3 — a full seven days after the claim period begins.

You can see your staked token balance by connecting your wallet to https://snortertoken.com/en/staking.

Steps to claim in-app:

You can claim your $SNORT tokens directly in the Upcoming Tokens tab.

Step 1: Go to the Upcoming Tokens tab

Open the Best Wallet app and go to the Upcoming Tokens tab in your purchasing wallet.

Here, you’ll find a list of all upcoming projects, including those in their claim periods, like Snorter Bot.

Step 2: Select Snorter Bot

Next, scroll down to reach the Claim Live section of Upcoming Tokens.

Tap on the Snorter Bot project to start the claim process.

Step 3: View your balance(s)

Next, you will see your claimable balance plus your stakable balance.

Please note: You won’t be able to claim your full staked balance on October 2 in Best Wallet. Instead, your tokens and rewards will unlock on November 3 at 2:00 PM UTC — through the staking dashboard on the official Snorter Bot website: https://snortertoken.com/en/staking.

Step 4: Select a claim method

There will be two options to claim your tokens: “Claim and Stake” and “Claim”.

If you choose “Claim”, you will get your $SNORT tokens in your wallet directly, and you will be able to access and trade them.

Alternatively, if you choose “Claim and Stake”, you claim your $SNORT tokens but then lock them in a staking pool, meaning they will earn you staking rewards in $SNORT tokens over the next 7 days or longer.

If you decide to just claim your Snorter Bot tokens, tap the “Claim” button.

Step 5: Approve the transaction

You will then be prompted to confirm your claim transaction, including an estimation of the gas fee.

Before confirming, you will need to ensure you’ve got enough ETH to pay the gas fees in your wallet.

What are gas fees?

When claiming your $SNORT tokens, you will need to pay a gas fee to process and confirm your claim transaction.

The gas fee for claiming $SNORT will be payable in ETH or SOL, the native tokens of Ethereum and Solana — the two networks $SNORT is launching on.

Important: Gas fees often spike during periods of high network activity, which may happen during the Snorter Bot token claim. This is because there will be many $SNORT holders trying to claim their new tokens at the same time.

Ensure your wallet has enough ETH or SOL to cover any spike in gas fees.

Whilst gas fees on Ethereum are usually around $2-$10 per transaction, we recommend having at least $10 worth of ETH in your wallet. On Solana, gas fees are generally far lower, so we recommend around $1 of SOL.

If the claiming fee seems too high, consider waiting for a less congested time to claim.

If you don’t have crypto to pay the gas fees, you can add gas ETH or SOL to your wallet by buying in-app (this may take a few hours) or depositing from another wallet or an exchange.

Step 6: Complete your $SNORT claim

Next, submit your claim transaction.

Once it's submitted to the blockchain, your claim will be processed.

Note: This process may take several minutes, especially with the number of people claiming $SNORT at the same time. Please don't try again until your transaction is finalized.

Please don't submit any additional claim transactions — due to the busy claim period, transactions may take longer than expected.

Once your claim transaction is confirmed, you can view your new tokens by tapping the button at the bottom.

Your new Snorter Bot tokens should automatically show up in your wallet’s token list — if they aren't appearing, wait a minute, then refresh your token list by hitting the three dots next to your tabs and hitting "Refresh list".

If you still don’t see your new tokens, you may have to enable or import the $SNORT token address in your wallet — don’t worry, your tokens are still yours and remain secure, just not viewable in your wallet yet.

Step 7: View your new tokens

You can now securely hold, access, and trade your Snorter Bot tokens in Best Wallet.

Please note that the $SNORT price may show in-app as "n/a" for the first 24-48 hours.

This doesn't mean your $SNORT tokens have zero value — it's due to a delay post-launch of the live price being available to coin providers like CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap. You can still transfer and trade your $SNORT tokens at their live price.

Tips for a smooth claiming experience

  • Claim Directly in Best Wallet: By claiming directly in your purchasing wallet's Upcoming Tokens tab, you avoid any chance of claiming via a scam phishing link. You can also see a clear breakdown of how many tokens you will receive, as well as the gas fee when claiming.

  • Use these contracts to import each version of the $SNORT token:

    • Ethereum: 0x21F5B2BAcb67C94Aa0982cE7428f7d1B3c9cEB53

    • Solana: 5eEJpwFtBJTn7n9f6ryWmHjkPUQQghHt4YjvtMSjEEwj

  • Monitor Gas Fees: Check the gas fee estimate or use a gas tracker like Etherscan or Solscan to choose optimal times for claiming to avoid high fees.

  • Stay Updated: Follow the Snorter Bot official X account to stay in the loop about the claim status and further project developments. Best Wallet is not responsible for and does not manage Snorter Bot or its claim process.

  • Verify Token Details: Claim directly through Best Wallet to avoid connecting to unauthorized or scam pages.

Struggling to claim your $SNORT tokens?

First, make sure you have enough ETH or SOL in your wallet to pay the gas fee estimate when claiming. Most failed claims happen because of insufficient gas fee tokens to complete the transaction.

If, for any reason, your claim doesn't seem to be going through in-app, please contact the Best Wallet support team in-app by going to Settings → Get Help, or open a ticket on our Support site.

Please note that during claim periods, the Best Wallet support team is very busy, so please add all relevant details (such as wallet address and transaction hash) in your first email/message for a quicker resolution.

Important Reminder:

No one from Best Wallet or the Snorter Bot team will ever request your wallet’s private key. Keep this information strictly private and do not share it with anyone.
