Learn how to claim your Solaxy ($SOLX) tokens directly in Best Wallet.

The Solaxy token claim period starts from 2:00 pm UTC on June 23. This guide may be published early to help you get ready and successfully claim your tokens, but you won't be able to claim your tokens until then.

If you’ve participated in the $SOLX pre-launch sale through Best Wallet’s Upcoming Token tab, claiming your tokens is the next step to accessing them in your wallet.

This article explains the simple process of claiming your tokens, potential challenges, and helpful tips to ensure a smooth experience. This includes troubleshooting advice for issues like high gas fees or app glitches.

Important: Claiming staked $SOLX tokens

If you've staked $SOLX tokens during or after buying them in Upcoming Tokens, you won't be able to claim them until June 30, 2:00 pm UTC.

This is due to the 7-day unlocking period for staked $SOLX tokens once Solaxy launches, meaning they aren't accessible or claimable.

This unstaking period is not set or managed by Best Wallet, and any query about staked tokens should be directed toward the Solaxy team.

You can see your staked token balance by connecting your wallet to https://solaxy.io/en/staking.

Steps to claim in-app:

You can now claim your $SOLX tokens directly in the Upcoming Tokens tab.

Step 1: Go to the Upcoming Tokens tab

Open the Best Wallet app and go to the Upcoming Tokens tab in your purchasing wallet.

Here, you’ll find a list of all upcoming projects, including those in their claim periods, like Solaxy.

Step 2: Select Solaxy

Next, scroll down to reach the “Claim Live” section of Upcoming Tokens.

Tap on the Solaxy project to start the claim process.

Step 3: View your balance(s)

Next, you will see your claimable balance plus your stakable balance.

Please note that you will not be able to claim your staked balance until 2:00 pm UTC on June 30, and not in Best Wallet. Instead, you must go to the staking dashboard on the Solaxy website: https://solaxy.io/en/staking.

Step 4: Select a claim method

There will be two options to claim your tokens: “Claim and Stake” and “Claim”.

If you choose “Claim”, you will get your $SOLX tokens in your wallet directly, and you will be able to access and trade them.

Alternatively, if you choose “Claim and Stake”, you claim your $SOLX tokens but then lock them in a staking pool, meaning they will earn you staking rewards in $SOLX tokens, but you will not be able to access or trade them for at least 7 days.

If you decide to just claim your $SOLX tokens, tap the “Claim” button.

Step 5: Approve the transaction

You will then be prompted to confirm your claim transaction, including an estimation of the gas fee.

Before confirming, you will need to ensure you’ve got enough ETH to pay the gas fees in your wallet.

What are gas fees?

When claiming your $SOLX tokens, you will need to pay a gas fee to process and confirm your claim transaction.

The gas fee for claiming $SOLX will be payable in ETH, the native token of Ethereum. This is because you can only claim the Solaxy token launched on the Ethereum blockchain — if you bought on the Solana chain, please read our guide on how to claim via the Solaxy website.

Important: Gas fees often spike during periods of high network activity, which may happen during the Solaxy claim. This is because there will be many $SOLX holders trying to claim their new tokens at the same time.

Ensure your wallet has enough ETH to cover any spike in gas fees. Whilst gas fees on Ethereum are usually around $5-$20 per transaction, we recommend having at least $50 worth of ETH in your wallet.

If the claiming fee seems too high, consider waiting for a less congested time to claim.

If you don’t have crypto to pay the gas fees, you can add gas ETH to your wallet by buying in-app (this may take a few hours) or depositing from another wallet or an exchange.

Read our comprehensive guide on gas fees.

Step 6: Complete your $SOLX claim

Next, submit your claim transaction.

Once it's submitted to the blockchain, your claim will be processed.

Note: This process may take several minutes, especially with the number of people claiming $SOLX at the same time. Please don't try again until your transaction is finalized.

Please don't submit any additional claim transactions — due to the busy claim period, transactions may take longer than expected.

Once your claim transaction is confirmed, you can view your new tokens by tapping the button at the bottom.

Your new Solaxy tokens should automatically show up in your wallet’s token list — if they aren't appearing, wait a minute, then refresh your token list by hitting the three dots next to your tabs and hitting "Refresh list".

If you still don’t see your new tokens, you may have to enable or import the $SOLX token address in your wallet — don’t worry, your tokens are still yours and remain secure, just not viewable in your wallet yet.

Step 7: View your new tokens

You can now securely hold, access, and trade your Solaxy tokens in Best Wallet.

Please note that the price may show in-app as "n/a". This doesn't mean your $SOLX tokens have zero value — it's due to a delay post-launch of the live price being available to coin providers like CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap. You can still transfer and trade your Solaxy tokens at their live price.

Tips for a smooth claiming experience

  • Claim Directly in Best Wallet: By claiming directly in your purchasing wallet's Upcoming Tokens tab, you avoid any chance of claiming via a scam phishing link. You can also see a clear breakdown of how many tokens you will receive, as well as the gas fee when claiming.

  • Monitor Gas Fees: Check the gas fee estimate or use a gas tracker like Etherscan to choose optimal times for claiming to avoid high fees.

  • Stay Updated: Follow the Solaxy official X account to stay in the loop about the claim status and further project developments. Best Wallet is not responsible and does not manage Solaxy or its claim process.

  • Enable Notifications: Best Wallet sends real-time alerts for claiming periods and token updates. Ensure these are enabled in your Best Wallet’s Settings so you never miss important deadlines.

  • Verify Token Details: Claim directly through Best Wallet to avoid connecting to unauthorized or scam pages.

Struggling to claim your $SOLX tokens?

First, make sure you have enough ETH in your wallet to pay the gas fee estimate when claiming. Most failed claims happen because of insufficient ETH to complete the transaction.

If for any reason your claim doesn't seem to be going through in-app, please contact our support team by emailing [email protected] or opening a ticket on Discord or our support website.

Please note that during claim periods, the Best Wallet support team is very busy, so please add all relevant details (such as wallet address and transaction hash) in your first email/message for a quicker resolution.

Important Reminder: Nobody from Best Wallet or the Solaxy team will ever ask for your wallet’s private key. Please don't ever share this information with anyone.
