How To Change the Auto-Lock Timer in Best Wallet

Learn how to change how long your Best Wallet stays unlocked whilst idle.

Updated over a week ago

The Auto-Lock Timer in Best Wallet refers to how long your Best Wallet will remain unlocked whilst idle.

Every time you open your Best Wallet app, you will need to unlock it with your passcode or biometrics, and it will remain unlocked for a period of time before it automatically re-locks. This time period is set by your Auto-Lock Timer and will range from locking immediately to locking after 30 minutes.

If you want to change it โ€” either shorten it to keep your Best Wallet secure, or longer to freely use your Best Wallet without it locking regularly, you can do so easily in-app.

Step 1: Heading to your Settings

First, open your Best Wallet app. From the home screen, go to the Settings tab in your navigation bar.

Next, go to the "Auto-Lock Timer" option.

Step 2: Selecting a new auto-lock time

You will have a large range of timeframes to choose from, leaving you complete control over how you use your Best Wallet.

Once you change it to your preference, you will get confirmation that your new Auto-Lock Timer time is updated.

Remember: The longer the time is set, the longer your Best Wallet will remain unlocked, even if you're away from your mobile device.

Keeping your Best Wallet safe

Your Auto-Lock Timer is one of the many app features Best Wallet has to secure your wallet and crypto.
