Learn how to stake tokens you hold in your Best Wallet using a project's mobile website.

This process involves connecting your wallet directly to the site, authorizing the staking contract, and confirming the transaction within your app.

It's important only to connect and stake your tokens on legitimate websites. Please verify any URL, double-check the project background, and carefully read any approvals pop-ups in Best Wallet. For more information on how to avoid phishing scams, please read our guide.

Quick summary of staking tokens

Staking involves locking your tokens into a smart contract to earn rewards over time. Here’s what you need to know for mobile staking:

  • Direct Connection: When using a mobile browser, you can connect Best Wallet directly to the site without needing to scan a QR code.

  • Gas Fees: Every staking transaction requires a small amount of the network's native token (e.g., ETH, BNB, or SOL) to pay for blockchain processing.

  • Control: While you interact with the project's website, your tokens remain secured by the smart contract, and you manage the approval directly within your Best Wallet app.

Step 1: Go to the Staking page

Using your mobile browser, visit the official website of the project where you want to stake your tokens.

Most websites will have a dedicated staking section in their main menu. Always ensure you are on the official URL to protect your assets from phishing attempts.

Step 2: Connect your wallet

Once on the staking dashboard, you need to establish a secure connection between the website and Best Wallet. Tap the Connect Wallet button on the page.

Select Best Wallet from the list of provided wallet options.

Your phone may ask for permission to open an external application; tap Allow to launch Best Wallet. In Best Wallet, carefully review the connection request and tap Continue.

Once connected, return to your mobile browser.

Step 3: Enter the amount to stake

With your wallet connected, the dashboard should now display your available balance, with your wallet connected.

Find the staking interface and tap the Stake Now (or similar) button.

Enter the specific amount of tokens you wish to stake.

Review the amounts and tap Stake Now to proceed.

You may be promoted to open Best Wallet again:

Step 4: Confirm in Best Wallet

For your security, every staking action typically requires two levels of approval within your app:

Authorize: The website will trigger an "Authorize" or "Approve" request in your Best Wallet app. This gives the smart contract permission to move the tokens you’ve chosen to stake.

Confirm: After authorization, a final Transaction Pending screen will appear in Best Wallet. Review the gas fees and tap Confirm to finalize the stake on the blockchain.

Step 5: View your staked tokens

After the transaction is processed, return to your browser. You should see a confirmation message, and you may also be able to see the confirmed transaction on a block explorer:

Your Staked Balance and Rewards will now be visible on the project's dashboard.
