Learn how to claim your Flockerz ($FLOCK) tokens with Best Wallet.

Note: The Flockerz claim period starts on the 27th of January at 2:00 pm UTC. This guide will help you get ready and successfully claim your tokens, but you aren't able to claim your tokens until then.

If you’ve participated in the $FLOCK pre-launch sale through Best Wallet’s Upcoming Token tab, claiming your tokens is the next step to accessing and trading them in your wallet.

This article explains the simple process of claiming your tokens, potential challenges, and helpful tips to ensure a smooth experience. This includes troubleshooting advice for issues like high gas fees or app glitches.

If you've bought and staked $FLOCK tokens, you won't be able to claim until --- UTC on DATE.

This is because there's a 7-day unlocking period for staked $FLOCK tokens once Flockerz launches, meaning they aren't accessible or claimable.

This unstaking period is not set or managed by Best Wallet, and any query about staked tokens should be directed toward the Flockerz team. You can see your staked token balance by connecting your wallet to https://flockerz.com/en/staking.

You can claim your $FLOCK tokens either on the Flockerz website or directly in Best Wallet.

Due to the size of the claim, we suggest claiming via their desktop website as it will be better suited to the high level of traffic. All you will need to do is connect your wallet and then follow the instructions below.

Open the https://flockerz.com/en/claim website and then click Connect Wallet.

Next, click the Best Wallet button on the popup.

This will bring up a Best Wallet-specific QR code.

Next, scan the QR code from your Best Wallet app to connect your wallet — make sure you're using the wallet you purchased with.

Once your wallet is connected you'll see your claimable $FLOCK tokens and the amount you have staked.

Please Note: Staked tokens are locked for 7 days after claim, meaning you'll only be able to claim staked tokens on the 3rd of February at 2:00 PM UTC.

Hit the Claim and Stake button to lock your tokens for 7 days and accrue staking rewards.

Hit the Claim button to claim your tokens straight away.

Remember, you will need around $30-$50 worth of ETH to cover any gas fee spike.

Once you have hit Claim, or Claim and Stake, you'll be asked to check your Best Wallet app and approve the transaction. Tap approve to confirm the claim transaction on the blockchain.

Please Note: This step requires paying a gas fee. On occasion, the approval transaction pop-up will say zero fees, but there are still gas fees associated. The majority of failed transactions at this step are related to insufficient crypto to pay for the gas fee.

Once you've successfully claimed your tokens they should automatically appear in your token list.

If you can't see them, you can manually import the token using the contract address. See our detailed guide on how to import the $FLOCK token address here.

You can also claim your $FLOCK tokens in-app.

Open the Best Wallet app and go to the Upcoming Tokens tab in your purchasing wallet.

Here, you’ll find a list of all upcoming projects, including those in their claim periods, like Flockerz.

Next, you will have to scroll down to reach the “Claim Live” section of Upcoming Tokens.

Tap on the Flockerz project to start the claim process.

This will open an in-app browser, taking you directly to the Flockerz claim website.

Note: The in-app browser for Flockerz may be temperamental, especially with so many users trying to access the Flockerz website.

If you encounter issues, please visit the Flockerz website directly on a desktop browser, connect your wallet, and complete your $FLOCK claim there.

To proceed, connect your wallet by tapping on ‘Connect Wallet’.

Please double-check you are connecting the wallet you purchased $FLOCK with, then tap “Connect”.

Once you’ve approved, the pop-up will slide down and you should now see your $FLOCK token balance.

There will be two options to claim your tokens: “Claim and Stake” and “Claim $FLOCK”.

If you choose “Claim $FLOCK”, you will get your Flockerz tokens in your wallet directly and you will be able to access and trade them.

Alternatively, if you choose “Claim and Stake”, you claim your $FLOCK tokens but then lock them in a staking pool, meaning they will earn you staking rewards in $FLOCK tokens, but you will not be able to access or trade them for at least 7 days.

If you decide to just claim your $FLOCK, tap the button “Claim $FLOCK”.

You will then be prompted to confirm your claim transaction in a pop-up.

Before confirming, you will need to ensure you’ve got enough ETH to pay the gas fees in your wallet.

Please Note: This step requires paying a gas fee. On occasion, the approval transaction pop-up will say zero fees, but there are still gas fees associated. The majority of failed transactions at this step are related to insufficient crypto to pay for the gas fee.

When claiming your $FLOCK tokens, you will need to pay a gas fee to process and confirm your claim transaction.

The gas fee for claiming $FLOCK will be payable in ETH, the native token of Ethereum. This is because Flockerz is being launched on the Ethereum blockchain, meaning it will also be tradable on Ethereum.

Important: Gas fees often spike during periods of high network activity, which may happen during the Flockerz claim. This is because there will be many $FLOCK holders trying to claim their new tokens at the same time.

Ensure your wallet has enough ETH to cover any spike in gas fees. Whilst gas fees on Ethereum are usually around $15-20 per transaction, we recommend having at least $50-100 in ETH in your wallet.

If the claiming fee seems too high, consider waiting for a less congested time to claim.

If you don’t have crypto to pay the gas fees, you can add gas ETH to your wallet by buying in-app (this may take a few hours) or depositing from another wallet or an exchange.

After approving the transaction, the blockchain will process it. This may take a few minutes to reflect in your wallet’s balance. Your new Flockerz tokens should automatically show up in your wallet’s token list.

If you don’t see your new tokens, you may have to import the Flockerz token address into your wallet — don’t worry, your tokens are still yours and remain secure, just not viewable in your wallet yet.

However, if you are facing issues claiming in Best Wallet, we recommend trying to claim via the official Flockerz website on a desktop browser. If you think there's an issue with the website or your balance, please contact the Flockerz team.
