Learn how to claim your $PEPENODE tokens through the Upcoming Tokens tab once the claim period opens.
When can you claim $PEPENODE?
The $PEPENODE claim period starts on January 8 at 2:00 PM UTC.
This guide is published before the claim period begins, so you can prepare in advance. You’ll be able to complete your claim directly in Best Wallet once the claim period is live.
If you purchased $PEPENODE through Best Wallet’s Upcoming Tokens tab, claiming your tokens is the final step before accessing them in your wallet.
This article explains the full claiming process, how to prepare for gas fees, what to expect during busy network periods, and how to locate your tokens once your claim is complete.
Claiming staked $PEPENODE:
If you chose to stake your $PEPENODE tokens during or after buying, you will not be able to claim these tokens on January 8 when the claim period opens.
Staked tokens follow a 7-day unlock period. This means your tokens remain locked in the staking pool until the unlock window ends.
Withdrawals for staked $PEPENODE open on January 15.
Once the unlock period completes, you can withdraw both your staked tokens and any earned rewards.
You can only withdraw staked tokens through the project’s official staking dashboard on their website. Staked $PEPENODE cannot be withdrawn or managed inside the Best Wallet app.
How to claim your $PEPENODE tokens in-app
You can claim your tokens directly inside Best Wallet. Watch our video tutorial or follow the steps below.
Step 1: Go to your Upcoming Tokens tab
Open the Best Wallet app and go to the Upcoming Tokens tab in the wallet you used to purchase $PEPENODE.
Here, you will see all active and upcoming projects, including those currently in their claim periods.
Step 2: Select the Pepe Node project
Scroll to the Claim Live section and tap Pepe Node to open the claim page.
Step 3: View your available balance(s)
You will now see your claimable and stakeable $PEPENODE balance.
Important Reminder: Any staked $PEPENODE tokens can be withdrawn from the official staking dashboard starting January 15.
Step 4: Choose a claim method
You may see two options depending on the project setup:
Claim: Sends your $PEPENODE tokens directly to your wallet.
Claim & Stake: Claims your tokens and immediately stakes them in a pool, allowing them to earn rewards.
If you want to receive your tokens directly in your wallet, tap Claim to continue.
Step 5: Approve the transaction
You will be asked to confirm the transaction. The screen will show an estimated gas fee.
Make sure you have enough ETH in your wallet to pay this fee before confirming.
What are gas fees?
Gas fees are required to process your claim on the Ethereum network. These fees must be paid in ETH.
Gas fees can rise during busy periods, such as when a large number of users are claiming at the same time.
If the estimated fee looks unusually high, you may wish to wait for a less congested time.
If you do not have ETH for gas:
You can buy ETH in-app (processing can take between a few minutes to a few hours), or
Deposit ETH from another wallet or exchange.
Step 6: Submit your claim
Once you confirm, your claim transaction will be sent to the blockchain.
This may take several minutes, especially during busy periods. Please do not submit additional claim transactions while the first one is still pending.
After your claim is confirmed, you can view your new $PEPENODE tokens by tapping the button at the bottom of the screen.
If your tokens do not appear immediately, refresh your token list by tapping the three dots on the main wallet screen and selecting Refresh list.
If you still do not see your tokens, you may need to manually enable or import the $PEPENODE token address: 0xd29191a6d2aae7c0e60f4722018832addf4b9831. Your tokens remain safe even if they are not yet visible.
Step 7: View your new tokens
Once confirmed, your claimed $PEPENODE tokens will appear in your wallet.
If the token price shows as n/a at first, this is normal. Pricing data may take 24–48 hours to appear from external providers.
You can still hold, transfer, and trade your tokens during this time.
Tips for a smooth claiming experience
Claim directly in Best Wallet: Always claim through the Upcoming Tokens tab in your purchasing wallet. This ensures you avoid phishing links and see an accurate breakdown of your tokens and gas fees.
Monitor gas fees: Check the estimated gas fee or use an Ethereum gas tracker such as Etherscan to choose the best time to claim.
Enable notifications: Ensure you have notifications enabled in Settings so you receive alerts about the claim period.
Verify token details: Only import $PEPENODE using the official contract address provided by the project or Best Wallet. Never rely on random addresses or third-party messages.
The $PEPENODE contract address is:
0xd29191a6d2aae7c0e60f4722018832addf4b9831
Struggling to claim your $PEPENODE tokens?
Most failed claims happen because the wallet does not have enough ETH to cover gas fees. Check the gas estimate shown in the app and ensure your wallet has sufficient ETH.
