Learn how to use Solana-based tokens like USDC to buy upcoming tokens in Best Wallet.

Best Wallet's Upcoming Tokens feature allows you to browse, buy, and track pre-launch token sales directly in-app. You can now use Solana-based tokens (like SOL or USDC on Solana) to buy upcoming tokens safely and easily.

Step 1: Head to Upcoming Tokens

First, go to the Upcoming Tokens tab in Best Wallet.

You’ll see a list of featured projects. Note: Only select projects accept SOL or USDC on Solana as payment options.

Each project has a dedicated page with details like the next price increase, tokenomics, FAQs, and more.

To get started, tap "Buy Now" at the top of the screen. Your purchase will happen entirely inside Best Wallet — no need to connect to a third-party site.

Step 2: Choose how to pay

In the purchase screen, you’ll see available payment methods.

For Solana-based tokens (like USDC on Solana), tap the crypto dropdown and select your preferred token.

You’ll only be able to select tokens you already hold in your wallet and that the project accepts — for example, USDC (Solana).

Note: Some projects may only accept payments in specific tokens or on specific blockchains. Always check the accepted tokens listed in the app.

Once selected, tap "Select" to confirm your payment token.

Step 3: Set up your purchase

Next, enter how much USDC (Solana) you want to spend.

You’ll immediately see how many pre-launch tokens you’ll receive based on the current rate.

Once you’re happy, tap "Buy".

On the next screen, you’ll see a full breakdown of the purchase, including the gas fee.

What are gas fees?

Gas fees cover the cost of confirming your transaction on the Solana blockchain. Even if you’re paying with USDC (Solana), you’ll need a small amount of SOL in your wallet to cover the gas fee for the purchase.

📚 Read our guide on gas fees.

If you don’t have enough SOL, either buy it directly in-app or deposit from another wallet or exchange.

When you’re ready, tap "Submit".

Step 4: Finalize your purchase

Depending on the token you’re paying with, you might see a quick approval step.

Please stay in the Best Wallet app while your purchase completes — it only takes a few seconds.

Once confirmed, your purchase will be finalized!

Step 5: View your purchase details

Once the transaction is successful, you’ll see a confirmation screen.

You can choose to buy again or view transaction details.

You’ll also see your purchased token amount listed in your Best Wallet home screen in Upcoming Tokens.

You’ll be able to track your token allocation, but you won’t be able to claim or trade the tokens until the claim period starts.

Stay up to date on the token’s launch by checking its page in the app. Best Wallet will also send you emails when it’s time to claim your tokens.

If you're having issues buying with Solana tokens

The most common issue is not having enough SOL to cover gas fees.

Even if you’re paying with USDC (Solana), gas fees are paid in SOL — make sure you have enough in your wallet to complete the transaction.

Other issues could include:

  • Not holding the correct payment token

  • Network congestion or transaction timeout

  • The price of your purchasing token is fluctuating

Best Wallet does not own or manage any Upcoming Token projects, except for Best Wallet Token ($BEST). For project-specific concerns, please contact the project directly.
