How To Receive Solana in Best Wallet

Learn how to receive SOL in-app.

Updated this week

In this article:

Learn the simple steps to receive Solana (SOL) directly to your Best Wallet. This is useful if you want to deposit SOL from another crypto wallet you own, or from crypto exchanges such as Coinbase or Binance.

You can either watch our video tutorial or follow the easy steps below:

Step 1: Select the receiving wallet

First, choose which wallet in Best Wallet you want to receive your Solana. Once you’ve selected your wallet, tap the Receive button on the wallet card.

Make sure you're receiving Solana to the correct wallet — you can change the wallet at the top of the screen.

You’ll see a list of all your wallets in Best Wallet — and remember, you can only deposit Solana (SOL) to your multi-chain wallets.

Once you've confirmed the right wallet, the next step is selecting the correct blockchain address.

Remember: You can only deposit Solana (SOL) to multi-chain wallets in Best Wallet.

Step 2: Get the right blockchain address

The next step is ensuring you get the correct blockchain address.

Each wallet in Best Wallet contains multiple blockchain addresses — one for Ethereum, one for Solana, and so on. While they live in the same wallet, each address is specific to its own blockchain and can’t be used interchangeably.

It’s important to select your wallet’s Solana address, not the Ethereum or Bitcoin one. If you send SOL to an incompatible address, your funds may be lost or the transaction may fail.

To find your Solana address, either search by token or use the Chain tab, then select Solana Network.

Important: If you try to receive Solana to your Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, or Polygon address, the deposit may fail, or the funds could be permanently lost.

Step 3: Share your Solana address

Once you’ve selected Solana (SOL) as the token or Solana Network as the chain, you’ll see your Solana wallet address.

The long alphanumeric string is your wallet’s public Solana address. You’ll also see a QR code that represents the same address.

You can share the QR code by tapping “Tap to share image.” This is useful if you’re receiving SOL from another person or from a wallet that can scan saved QR codes.

You can also copy and paste the address directly from this screen. If you're receiving SOL from another wallet or exchange, copying and pasting is usually the best way to ensure accuracy.

Step 4: Send your SOL from the other platform/wallet

If you're transferring SOL from another wallet or exchange, paste the Solana address into the platform’s send or withdraw field.

Note: Solana transactions are usually very fast, but may still take a few moments depending on network activity. Once the transfer is confirmed, your SOL deposit will appear in your wallet.

To view your SOL transaction history, tap Solana on your token list, or go to the Trade tab and then History.

All blockchain transactions, including Solana, are irreversible. Always double-check that you're using the correct Solana wallet address before sending any funds.

If you're new to crypto or Best Wallet, it's a good idea to first send a small test amount. This helps you get comfortable with the process before transferring larger amounts.

How long do Solana deposits take?

Solana is one of the fastest blockchains, and most transactions complete within seconds.

However, depending on your exchange, wallet provider, or network traffic, your transaction could take a few minutes to arrive. Larger transactions may also take longer to be confirmed.

Once received, your SOL will appear in the Transaction tab, where you can view the full details, including the sender’s address and network fees.
