Learn the simple steps to buy Solana (SOL) in Best Wallet.
Purchase SOL using various payment methods, including credit or debit cards, Apple or Google Pay, bank transfer, or other local options.
By partnering with Onramper — a platform that aggregates and selects the best services to buy and sell crypto — Best Wallet offers you competitive prices and lower fees when buying Solana.
When you buy SOL in Best Wallet, your tokens are sent directly to your wallet — no need to move funds from an exchange.
Step 1: Get started
It’s important to note that the wallet where you start the purchase will be the one that receives your Solana. Also, remember: you can only buy SOL in your multi-chain wallets.
To begin, tap the Buy button on your wallet card from the home screen.
Next, select Solana (SOL) from the token list.
Once you select Solana, you’ll be taken to the in-app buy page, where you can configure your purchase and get matched with a trusted third-party provider.
Step 2: Set up your SOL purchase
On the next screen, start by entering the amount of SOL you’d like to buy.
Then, select your preferred payment method.
Depending on your location, options may include Apple or Google Pay, credit or debit cards, bank transfers, and other regional payment services.
Typically, Apple/Google Pay or card payments are the fastest and easiest. After selecting your payment method, choose a provider.
Best Wallet will recommend the provider with the best available rate, but you can compare based on price, speed, performance, or the provider’s Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements.
Once you’ve chosen a provider, double-check all purchase details. If everything looks correct, tap Buy SOL at the bottom of the screen.
Step 3: Purchase through the provider
This will open the selected provider so you can finalize your purchase.
In some cases, the provider will open within Best Wallet. In others, it may launch in your device’s browser.
You may be required to create an account with the provider (e.g., using an email address, Apple ID, or Google account) and complete a KYC identity verification step.
This is set by the provider — not Best Wallet — and helps comply with legal requirements and ensure transaction safety.
Best Wallet does not handle, store, or access your personal information during this process.
Once you’ve completed verification, confirm your purchase and take note of any Transaction ID or receipt provided by the service.
In some regions, your bank may request authorization to approve the crypto payment. Always check for any follow-up steps in your banking app or SMS.
Reminder: While the purchase is handled by a third-party provider, your SOL will be sent directly to your Best Wallet.
Step 4: Receive your SOL
After completing the purchase through the provider, return to Best Wallet.
Your SOL will be sent directly to your wallet. If there are any issues, the fastest way to troubleshoot is to contact the provider’s support team, since they can track the status of your transaction.
There may be a short delay before your SOL appears, especially during times of high network traffic on the Solana blockchain.
Once the provider deposits the SOL, you’ll see it in your token list, and your wallet balance will update.
To view the transaction, tap the Trade tab, then go to History.
In the History section, you’ll find all transactions for that wallet.
Tap on any transaction to see more details, including fees and purchase status.
Remember: Your SOL purchase may take a little time to arrive. It might not appear in your History tab until it has been deposited into your wallet.
How long will it take for your SOL to show in Best Wallet?
Timing varies depending on the provider and the network.
Receiving your SOL could take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours, and in rare cases, slightly longer.
To check progress, refer to the provider receipt or confirmation message. Most providers give you a transaction ID or order number you can use to track the purchase.
If you paid with a bank card, you can also check your banking app to confirm the payment went through.
We recommend waiting a few hours before troubleshooting. Solana is generally fast, but provider processing times can vary.
