Learn the simple steps to create a brand new multi-chain wallet in Best Wallet. This is for users who have created their Best Wallet account post version 2.5.2, or migrated to multi-chain wallets and can now create multi-chain wallets. This new wallet is in addition to and completely separate from your other multi-chain wallet, which was made when you first signed up to Best Wallet (or when you migrated your account).
Step 1: Start your wallet creation
The quickest way to create a new wallet is by going to the multi-wallet view on your home screen. You can access your multi-wallet view by swiping through your wallets.
Your multi-wallet view will show the collected balance of all your wallets, and also allow you to add wallets from your home screen directly.
Tap "Add wallet" to create a new wallet.
Next, hit "Create a multi-chain wallet".
Step 2: Customize your new wallet
The next step is to customize your new multi-chain wallet. Give it a name and change the wallet card color to make it easily identifiable on your home screen.
Once that's done, tap "Done", and your wallet will be created!
Step 3: Use your new wallet
Your newly created wallet will now show on the home screen.
You can edit it by going back into the Settings tab and tapping “Manage Wallets”.
Your newly created wallet is accessible here, under the "Multi-Chain Wallets" section.
You can view your new wallet alongside your other multi-chain wallet(s).
Here, you can see all the important information about your new wallet, including your private keys and your wallet's connections to websites and dApps.

You can create more multi-chain wallets by following the same steps, and they will all be secured by your cloud backup.
It's very important that you back up your multi-chain wallets to always be able to recover your wallets/funds in case you lose or change your device or have to uninstall Best Wallet. Read our step-by-step guide on how to create a cloud backup in-app.
