Troubleshoot why your Wall Street Pepe ($WEPE) claim isn't working and the steps to resolve the issue.
Important: The Wall Street Pepe claim period is from 2:00 pm UTC on Monday the 17th of February. You won't be able to claim your $WEPE token before then.
Read our step-by-step guide on how to claim your $WEPE tokens.
You're trying to claim staked $WEPE tokens
If you bought and staked $WEPE during the pre-launch sale, you won't be able to claim your new tokens on Monday the 17th.
Instead, you will be able to claim your tokens on February 24th, at 2:00 pm UTC. This is because there's a 7-day unlocking period for staked $WEPE tokens once Wall Street Pepe launches, meaning they aren't accessible or claimable.
This unstaking period is not set or managed by Best Wallet, and any query about staked tokens should be directed toward the Wall Street Pepe team. You can see your staked token balance by connecting your wallet to https://wallstreetpepe.com/en/staking.
You will still need ETH to claim your tokens and rewards — we recommend at least $50-$100 worth.
Please don’t try to claim your tokens before then, as the transaction won’t go through and you may incur a gas fee.
You don't have enough ETH to cover the gas fee whilst claiming
When claiming your $WEPE tokens, you will need to pay a gas fee to process and confirm your claim transaction.
The gas fee for claiming $WEPE will be payable in ETH, the native token of Ethereum. This is because Wall Street Pepe is being launched on the Ethereum blockchain, meaning it will also be tradable on the Ethereum network.
Important: Gas fees often spike during periods of high network activity, which may happen during the Wall Street Pepe claim. This is because there will be many $WEPE holders trying to claim their new tokens at the same time.
To successfully claim, make sure your wallet has enough ETH to cover any spike in gas fees. Whilst gas fees on Ethereum are usually around $15-20 per transaction, we recommend having at least $50-$100 of ETH in your wallet.
If the claiming fee seems too high, consider waiting for a less congested time to claim
If you don’t have crypto to pay the gas fees, you can add gas ETH to your wallet by buying in-app (this may take a few hours) or depositing from another wallet or an exchange.

Issues with Best Wallet's in-app claim page
Because of the expected high volume of claim transactions, the Best Wallet in-app claim flow may be slow.
If you having issues with the native claim in-app, either wait until the claim is quieter or go and claim directly on the Wall Street Pepe website via a desktop browser. All you need to do is connect your wallet and complete your $WEPE claim there.
Claim transaction not going through
If it appears your claim transaction isn't going through, it may be due to delays on the Ethereum network. This happens during busy periods on a blockchain, where transactions might get held up or delayed, stuck in "Pending".
This is completely natural, and we recommend that once you have submitted your $WEPE claim transaction, do not try again to avoid being charged more than one gas fee.
To check your transaction status, we recommend going to Etherscan, entering your claiming wallet's address, and checking the status of your claim transaction — it should be listed in the transaction tab. If it says pending, please wait for your claim to go through.
You need to import Wall Street Pepe into your wallet
