Learn how you can buy presale projects directly within Best Wallet.
Best Wallet's "Upcoming Tokens" feature will allow you to browse, buy, and track presales directly in-app. This means that purchasing presale tokens in your Best Wallet is quick, easy, and secure, as you won't have to connect to a presale website to make a purchase.
Read our guide on crypto presales.
Step 1: Getting started
In your Best Wallet, head to the Upcoming Tokens tab.
In the Upcoming Tokens tab, you will see a list of featured presale projects.
Tap the presale token you want to buy to learn more about the project.
Once you tap on the presale project, you will see more details, including when the next price change will happen.
Tap the "Buy Now" button on the banner to start the purchase process β the whole buy process will happen within Best Wallet, making it easier and more secure.
Step 2: Choosing how to pay
In the purchase screen, you can choose which way you want to pay. This will either be via cryptocurrency or a bank card.
Note: Often, you will only be able to purchase with a few cryptocurrencies. These are normally ETH, USDT, POL, and BNB, but it depends on the presale project. Some presale tokens only accept payment on one blockchain.
If you want to change the cryptocurrency, tap the crypto drop-down.
You can only select from the cryptocurrencies you own and the presale project accepts.
You can also pay with your bank card β this is similar to buying an item online.
Note: If your card payment keeps failing, it is commonly due to your bank provider not allowing crypto purchases. You can check your bank's crypto policy online or by contacting their support.
Select the method you want to pay with, then tap "Select".
If you need to buy ETH, USDT, or another cryptocurrency, read our guide on how to buy crypto directly in-app. Alternatively, you can directly buy with your bank card.
Step 4: Choosing how much to buy and paying gas fees
Next, enter how much you want to spend.
Once you've entered how much you want to spend, you will see how much in the presale token you will receive.
Once you're happy with all the details, tap "Buy". The next screen will give you a breakdown of your purchase, including the gas fee.
What are gas fees?
When buying a presale token, you will need to pay a gas fee to process and confirm your purchase.
The gas fee will be payable in the native token of the blockchain you are buying on, so if you're buying on the Ethereum network, the gas fee token is payable in ETH, even if you're buying with USDT.
Read our guide on gas fees.
If you don't have crypto to pay the gas fees, the best option is to buy with your bank card. Alternatively, you can also add gas fee tokens to your wallet by buying, swapping, or depositing from another wallet or an exchange.
Once you're happy with your purchase, tap "Submit".
Step 5: Approving and finalising your purchase
There may be some additional approval steps, depending if you bought with a native token (ETH, BNB, or POL), or a non-native token, like USDT.
This process doesn't take long, and you won't have to do anything out of your Best Wallet app. Please stay on this page.
You will have to approve the use of your USDT to purchase the presale token.
Once you tap "Approve", your purchase will almost be done!
Once that is approved, all you will need to do is a final confirmation, and your presale purchase will be submitted on the blockchain!
Tap "Confirm" and your purchase should go through!
Step 6: Checking the purchase details after you buy
Once your purchase has gone through, you will see the confirmation screen in Best Wallet.
You will have the option to buy again or see your transaction details. You can tap the "Transaction Details" to see a full breakdown of your presale purchase.
You will also be able to see your tokens on your Best Wallet's home screen. Head back to the Upcoming Tokens tab.
You will then be able to see your presale purchase amount.
You can see all your presale purchases, as well as track the progress of the projects.
Note: Whilst you can see your presale purchase amount, you won't be able to claim or transact your presale tokens until the project's claim process goes live and you've claimed your tokens.
You can stay up-to-date on the presale by checking the project's information page in Best Wallet. You should also receive an email from Best Wallet with all the details you need before the claim process goes live.
If you're having issues purchasing presale tokens in Best Wallet
One of the most common issues when buying presale tokens is having enough gas fee tokens. Remember, you will need native tokens of the blockchain you are buying on to confirm your purchase. So, if you're buying on Ethereum, you will need ETH tokens, or if you're buying on BNB Smart Chain, you will need BNB. Read our guide on gas fees.
There also could be other issues, such as insufficient balance for your purchase, or trying to buy on the wrong chain. We outline these issues in our guide to troubleshooting why crypto transactions fail.
Note: Best Wallet doesn't own or manage any presale project, and can only advise you on what to do within the Best Wallet app. Any issue with a particular project needs to be directed to their support team.
But if you're struggling to purchase in-app via the Upcoming Tokens tab, please email [email protected] and the support team will help you troubleshoot and resolve your issue.
