Learn the simple steps to swap WEPE in Best Wallet. Whether you’re looking to convert WEPE into ETH, USDT, or another token cross-chain, Best Wallet makes it fast and straightforward.
WEPE is an Ethereum-based meme token, so swaps typically occur through Ethereum liquidity routes. This guide will walk you through how to start with WEPE and swap into tokens across supported networks.
For wider walkthroughs on how to exchange tokens, read our guides on cross-chain swaps and same-chain swaps.
If you're looking for how to swap into WEPE using other tokens, you can follow the same steps in reverse, or read our guide on how to buy directly in your wallet.
Step 1: Get started
There are a few ways to begin a swap in Best Wallet. The easiest is to tap the Swap button on your wallet card from the home screen.
You can also access the swap feature from the Trade tab, or by tapping WEPE in your token list and choosing “Swap.” All of these lead to the same swap flow.
Step 2: Set up your WEPE swap
Once you're on the Swap screen, double-check that the correct wallet is selected at the top. Tap it to switch if needed. Next, tap the first Select Token box.
If you're trying to swap out of WEPE, select WEPE here as the token you're starting with.
Then tap the second Select Token box to pick the token you want to receive — for example, ETH, USDT, or BNB.
Tip: Look at the network badge beside each token. WEPE will show the Ethereum icon, while other tokens may show BNB Smart Chain, Base, or other networks.
Step 3: Enter your swap amount
Now enter how much WEPE you want to swap.
You can tap Max to swap your full balance — but Best Wallet will leave a small amount to cover Solana gas fees automatically.
Once entered, Best Wallet will calculate the optimal route for your swap.
You’ll see:
The estimated amount you'll receive
The exchange rate between tokens
A breakdown of gas and provider fees
Total expected output
If everything looks good, tap Preview Transaction.
Step 4: Understand gas and provider fees
Swaps within Ethereum:
If you're swapping WEPE to another ERC-20 token (like ETH, USDT, or USDC), you'll pay a small Ethereum gas fee, paid in ETH and costing on average $0.50 to $2.00.
Cross-chain swaps:
If you're swapping WEPE to a token on BNB Smart Chain, Base, or another blockchain, you'll go through an in-app cross-chain bridge.
This means:
An ETH gas fee to initiate the swap
Provider fees (paid in ETH) for the bridge route
All fees are shown upfront before you confirm. Best Wallet does not charge additional fees beyond what the swap provider requires.
Step 5: Finalize your swap
When you’re ready, tap Swap to begin.
If you’re swapping from a non-native token, you may be asked to approve the token first — this allows Best Wallet to complete the transaction securely.
Once approved, your transaction will be submitted and broadcast to the Ethereum blockchain (and bridged if applicable).
Step 6: Wait for your swap to complete
Same-chain swaps (like WEPE → ETH) usually settle within a few seconds.
Cross-chain swaps may take a few minutes as your tokens move across networks, go through a liquidity pool, and finalize on the destination chain.
You’ll see your new token appear automatically once the swap is complete.
You can track its status in the History section under the Trade tab.
Why your WEPE swap might take longer
Swapping WEPE may take longer, due to it being a relatively small token (compared to ETH, USDT, etc), and may involve extra steps:
Limited trade routes due to small liquidity
Routing delays during high network activity
Lack of cross-chain options
Variable gas costs and provider wait times
If your swap is delayed, it’s still processing. Your funds are safe and will land once all steps are confirmed.
