Learn how to get crypto in your new Best Wallet. Whether you’re looking to buy or deposit crypto, or import an existing wallet, this guide will help you get started.
What does funding your wallet mean?
Funding your wallet just means getting cryptocurrency in your wallet, ready to be used or traded.
There are several ways to fund your Best Wallet, including:
Buying crypto directly in-app (also known as on-ramping).
Receiving crypto from another wallet or exchange.
Importing a wallet that already has funds.
When choosing which cryptocurrency to get, consider which network you plan to use. Once you know which crypto network you intend to use, we recommend first buying/depositing that blockchain's native token.
For example, if you want to own and swap tokens on Ethereum, you’ll need ETH to cover gas fees (the small transaction costs on the network). If you buy Tether (USDT) but don’t have any ETH in your wallet, you won’t be able to spend, swap, or transfer your USDT, as you won't be able to pay the gas fees.
For more information, read our guide on gas fees and how they work in Best Wallet.
Buy crypto directly in-app
The easiest way to fund your Best Wallet is by purchasing crypto directly in-app using a trusted third-party provider. You can set up your purchase in your wallet, select the best provider for that purchase, and get your crypto directly sent to your wallet!

Receive crypto from another wallet
If you already own crypto in another wallet or exchange, you can deposit it straight to your Best Wallet.
All you need to do is get the right address for the token you want to deposit — so if you're transferring ETH from an exchange, make sure to get your Ethereum wallet address in Best Wallet to avoid any failed or lost funds.
Follow our step-by-step guide on how to receive crypto to your Best Wallet.
Import a funded wallet into Best Wallet
If you have an existing wallet with funds, you can import it into Best Wallet using that wallet's private key or secret recovery phrase.
This allows you to access your assets without transferring them — once in Best Wallet, you can use your crypto to buy an Upcoming Token or trade them using our swap feature.
Buy Upcoming Tokens with a bank card
If you're looking for a quick way to buy a pre-launch token, you can buy Upcoming Tokens directly with your bank card. This side-steps the need for funding your wallet with crypto (which may take hours, especially when buying in-app).
All you need to do is head to the Upcoming Tokens tab, tap "Pay with Card", and fulfill your purchase via our trusted payment provider.
However, it is important to note that you will need crypto in your wallet to be able to claim your Upcoming Token once it launches, as you will need to pay a gas fee when claiming.
What can you do after funding your wallet?
Once your wallet is funded, you can:
Buy Upcoming Tokens. Explore and buy new and promising pre-launch tokens at a discounted price by heading to the Upcoming Tokens tab on your wallet's home screen.
Swap tokens. Seamlessly exchange your tokens, including cross-chain, all in-app, getting the best exchange rates and lowest fees.
Hold and manage assets. Securely buy, hold, and trade a wide array of tokens, including Ether (ETH), Tether (USDT), BNB (BNB), and soon, Bitcoin (BTC).
Explore dApps and iGaming. Use DeFi, gaming, and Web3 applications
Need help adding crypto to your wallet?
If you’re having trouble adding funds to your wallet, first check:
Did your crypto purchase confirm? When buying crypto through a third-party provider, it may take a few hours before receiving your new tokens. If you think there's been an issue, first contact the provider you used, as they will be able to troubleshoot more efficiently.
Have you checked your transaction status? Some crypto transfers take longer than expected due to network congestion. You can check your transaction status either on the wallet or exchange you're sending from or on a blockchain explorer like Etherscan.io.
Did you deposit funds via the correct network? If you've tried to deposit funds on the wrong network, your transfer might have failed. If you have sent a currently unsupported asset to your Best Wallet, you may be able to recover it — read our guide on what to do.
Are your funds visible in Best Wallet? You may need to refresh your wallet (tap the three dots next to your Tokens/Upcoming Tokens tab, then Refresh List). You may also need to import some tokens if they're relatively unknown — read our guide on how to import a token.
If you need further assistance, please contact the Best Wallet support team via [email protected] or open a ticket on our Support site.
Important reminder: Best Wallet will never request your wallet’s private key or secret recovery phrase. Keep this information strictly private and do not share it with anyone.
